A House with a Garage...

Means a place for projects! Woohoo! We completed our first project this last weekend. We took one board and turned it into this... Jason is so thrilled to have access to his tools again...and so am I. I have quite a few ideas that I would like to have come to fruition before baby comes. We painted another little decoration for the kitchen as well. Once I figure out how to make use of it, I'll put up a picture.

Field Trip plus some other goodies

Navie started her new school about 2 1/2 weeks ago. It has been a good experience for her. I was a little worried about all the change taking place in her life but she has handled it all like a champ. I'm not sure she has made wonderful friends with the kids in her class yet but it seems to going mostly well. We had a pretty sweet set-up in Naples. Anywho, this school does field trips! Fun! So Thursday was a trip to the farm at one of the high schools. I still have a hard time thinking that Florida and farming go together but they sure do. Also let me just preface, I am terrible at taking pictures...it's probably due to the fact that I am using a 6 year old camera that is SO slow but seriously, I need to work on it. Now for some other random pics. Navie lost her 2nd tooth on Wednesday. This one was getting really loose, it was just wobbling all around in her mouth but yet still holding on strong in one place. As I brushed her hair for school, she was wiggling it around and before we knew it, it popped out. A little blood but no tears and all smiles. Happy Valentines Day (a little late). Navie gets very nice things sent to her from her other family for holidays and this Valentines Day was no exception. This red little number came this year along with a new princess cupcake game, Fancy Nancy book, sugar cookies and lots of other things. Oh yeah, Navie's new school has homework and monthly projects. Navie made this butterfly for her February project. I love doing these things with her. Here she is strapped in with her baby. I just love it when she takes care of her baby. Lets not forget the turtles. We moved their dirty tank with us to the new house. They rode on the floor of the truck with Jason. The day after we got here we made it a point to clean their tank. We placed them in a shallow bowl while Jason did the dirty work. However the bowl was too shallow. They escaped and it was so cute to watch them try and make a break for it on the tile.

New Address

Here we are in the moving truck. Navie sure has grown in the last year. She looks so big. We are still enjoying the beautiful warm, sunny weather and palm trees but now we are only about a 50 minute jaunt to Orlando. After getting all the boxes off the moving truck we headed out of town to see some new Orlando spoils. Let me just preface that it has been a long wait for me to go see Sea World. Well it was worth the wait. I love dolphins and whales. I feel oddly connected to these animals. Anyway we had a great time. I did come down with some sort of cold/cough like the day after we moved. I had to carry a box of Kleenex around Sea World. Pretty gross but so worth it for me. Also this pregnancy gets me out of doing roller coasters, which I'm not a huge fan of but I did miss out on riding rides with Navie. But I think it was a great bonding moment for her and Jason. We saw an aquatic Cirque du'Soleil show and that inspired Jason and Navie to try a few tricks. Navie went on lots of rides, she was so brave. A few days later we headed to Tampa to check out Busch Gardens. This is great park. It has fabulous shows, great animal exhibits, and rides. We have enjoyed our new digs thus far. Now if we could just get all the boxes unpacked. I love this picture of these guys in the bumper car, I love the way Navie is holding on and this was seriously Jason's driving face for the whole thing. I can't wait till we go again.
