New Couches!!

This big guy paid a little visit to our house today to bring us those 2 lovely wrapped up packages.
The love seat unveiled.

And the unveiling of the couch.
In the daylight.
At night.
I wanted to get a great picture to show how totally rad this is but we do not have the cameras to show the vibrance. (Cell phone attempt)

Camera attempt.
I put this one on to show how yucky pictures taken with our camera can look.
If you blend the two together, that gives you a pretty good idea of what it is really like. But of course to experience the full glory, you'll just have to come over and see.

Cali Day 1

Before we left on this trip, Jason and I made a promise that we would take at least 10 pictures everywhere we went. We did all right. Here is the result of our valiant effort.
Wednesday was spent mostly in the car. However when we got to the hotel in Reno we went "swimming" in the jacuzzi.

Day 5 was also spent in the car coming home in the rain.

Day 2

Thursday brought more driving but we also went to Jelly Belly Factory. This is what we had all been waiting for. We weren't allowed to take pictures of the tour. As a side-note, Jason and I are both disgusted that the 2nd most popular flavor is buttered popcorn.
Despite how much she is loving on this pillow, I don't think Navie was that impressed.

Putting your arms up makes it seem exciting.

Day 3

On Friday we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
They had fish dress ups and puppets. Navie was in paradise. Not to mention the fact that she also got to see Nemo and Dorie.
Glad there was a wall of glass in between us.
Please notice tired Navie but don't miss the tiny baby seahorse being born. There was a sign on the wall suggesting that you take a family picture with this seahorse giving birth.
This is where we parked. The cars can be lifted up so another car can park underneath. I was amazed!
Then we went to the beach. We made a sand castle (more like a pile of sand).
Navie looking.
Mom looking. (I must say that I think it is pretty cute how Navie is looking at me.)
Working hard.
The cutest sand covered toes!

Day 4

On Saturday, we visited the Winchester Mystery Mansion. The widow of one of the partners of Winchester Rifles, believed she had to build a house for all of the spirits killed by Winchester Rifles. There was constant construction for like 30 years and the result is quite bizarre.

This is just one example of the weird doors she had placed throughout the house. "The Door to Nowhere"
Her favorite design was spider webs which she used to decorate. Her favorite number was 13, found commonly in designs in the house.

After the crazy house, we went to Muir Woods. It is part of the Redwoods Forest. Navie was growling like the bear.

Pretty BIG tree.
